Tusla is responsible for assessing applications for registration and conducting inspections of registered services, including pre-schools, play groups, day nurseries, and crèches.

As mandated by the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016 and its amendments, we take all reasonable measures to safeguard the health and safety of the children in our care. Tusla inspections are comprehensive and unannounced, ensuring that services are consistently well-managed, and premises are safe, suitable, and conducive to the holistic development of children.

The Quality and Regulatory Framework (QRF), developed by Tusla, guides us in meeting core regulatory requirements through evidence-based practices and international research. Additionally, the Department of Education conducts inspections focusing on the quality of early educational experiences.
