Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of curriculum do you follow?
We follow a blended curriculum using some elements from Montessori curriculum and recognising the importance of child led activities. We place a huge emphasis on sensory play for the one to three year old as we feel they really enjoy it and they learn best when they are happy.
Do you have a special designated playground?
We have two seperate play areas. this allows us to separate school aged children from the younger age groups during out of school care. ie easter and summer holidays
Will my child be playing with bigger kids?
They will be mainly playing with their own age groups and if they want to spend short periods with an old sibling, we can facilitate that
What happens if my child gets sick or hurt?
We will follow our illness policy and contact parents to collect the child as soon as possible, keep them home for the recommended exclusion period depending on the illness and we will keep them comfortable till their parents arrive and all staff are trained in first aid should there be an accident on-site. and four of our staff are first aid response trained.
What are your afternoon pick up procedures?
ECCE Hours are 09:30 to 12:30
